Now at barely twenty-five, he has become one of the most sought after and accomplished artists in the world. From his staggeringly diverse productions, to his brain changing remix work, to his obsessive DJ sets around the world, this young man turns heads with seemingly everything he does. Kris cut his teeth, as it were, in the internationally revered city of Detroit. His first paid booking as a DJ was at the tender age of sixteen, subsequently having him playing clubs, bars, raves, and after-hours, most of which he was not even old enough to get into legally as a patron. His first recording was published on a local Detroit imprint at age seventeen, one more locally at age twenty, and then his first globally applauded release for Swiss mainstay, Morris/Audio, at age twenty-two. Since then, Kris Wadsworth and his instantly recognizable unique touch have gone over the globe and back several times.
His driven, personal productions and unequalled dedication have seen him rock the charts of every one of the largest names in practically every 4/4-based genre of electronic music. With his remixes chasing most deservingly in parallel, with work being done for the likes of Steve Bug, Audio Soul Project, Aaron Carl, and numerous others. Kris’s productions as of late have been being signed to the most prestigious labels in the world as well as some of the absolute hottest new labels. Kris Wadsworth is certainly one of Detroit and the world’s most prolific electronic artists as he continues to defy genre borders, and journalistic pigeonholes, with a seemingly archived quantity of quality.
